Join Olvondo Technology at the Nordic Food Industry event

Olvondo Technology will be taking part at this year’s Nordic Food Industry event, to be held in Sweden this October. Sustainable production and processing will be the focus of the event, with actors from all different sectors attending. Olvondo Technology will be present to visit at stand number E03:40, and the Managing Director, Stefano Vittor, will be presenting on the EU-funded joint collaboration between AstraZeneca, Åbo Akademi University and Olvondo Technology. Attendees will get an insight into how our high temperature heat pump technology can and has helped businesses increase sustainability and significantly reduce emissions from their manufacturing processes.

The event will be a fantastic opportunity to network with those seeking more sustainability within the food industry, seeing as this is an area where decarbonising is needed and entirely possible to achieve.

We look forward to meeting you there!

Olvondo Technology’s CEO presents at AstraZeneca

Olvondo Technology recently took part in the business delegation visit to Sweden (3rd-4th May), an effort to strengthen ties and collaboration between Norwegian and Swedish business and industry. Here, Olvondo Technology’s CEO, Stefano Vittor, presented on the HighLift high temperature heat pump installation at AstraZeneca’s R&D facilities in Gothenburg, and the impact this green technology is making on cutting CO2 emissions.

It was a fantastic opportunity to share ideas on possible future collaborations between the two countries, and how we could work together towards climate-friendly industry. We look forward to being able to cooperate for a greener future!

Electricity- the future of the energy system

The world of energy has undergone tumultuous change lately, and consumers are faced with higher expenses as a result. Not only has the price of gas skyrocketed, but carbon prices have hit all-time highs. Electricity prices have also suffered hikes, a challenge to those wishing to implement greener changes within their business.  However, the future of electricity needn’t be so bleak.

Rapid reduction in the costs of technology means that the production of renewable power and electricity storage at large scale is now easier than ever. This is good news for the future of electricity prices. Also, the reduction targets for CO2 emissions are increasing and pushing up carbon costs related to energy generation, so the cost of using fossil fuels is increasing.

With electricity likely to dominate the future energy system, many feel that now is the right time to invest in renewable energy. For a business looking to reduce its carbon footprint, switching from fossil fuel based energy sources to electricity can dramatically cut CO2 emissions. By recycling thermal energy, our HighLift heat pumps can lower harmful emissions, thus reducing carbon costs and make energy recycling profitable. Embracing innovative, climate friendly solutions appears to be the best way to allow businesses and industries to prosper, and given the current energy situation, there’s no better time than to start the journey to greener energy now.

Olvondo Technology to present at Green Industry Day

On the 31st March, in Bergen, LOS Group will be presenting their innovation and technology solutions for a greener Norway. At the event, Olvondo Technology will be speaking about their revolutionary heat pump technology and how it can contribute towards reaching climate goals within industry.
